May at Open Door
As spring slowly makes her way into our lives, I hope we can take time in our day to appreciate our own aliveness and interconnectedness.

From my favorite read this year:
“There is only one immutable truth: No being is purely individual; nothing comprises only itself. Everything is composed of foreign cells, foreign symbionts, foreign thoughts. This makes each life-form less like an individual warrior and more like a tiny universe, tumbling extravagantly through life like the fireflies orbiting one in night. Being alive means participating in permanent community and continually reinventing oneself as part of an immeasurable network of relationships.”

Open Door's Outreach Program
We continue to extend our reach by offering our wellness programming in the community. Our intention is to meet people where they are and, by doing so, make wellness programming accessible to more people and hopefully more pragmatic as the tools we offer can easily be integrated into daily life.Schools, businesses, non-profits and even the military have asked us to create programming for their communities. We have a fully vetted team of practitioners and have developed curriculum that integrates easily into the culture of each organization. Programming is based on four pillars of wellness that includes Mental Health/mindfulness, Movement, Nutrition and Community.
Please let us know if you would like more information on our programming. We continue to be fully committed to listening to the needs of our community and offering our curated services in order to create measurable changes to the well being of those we work with.

We are sorry to say goodbye to acupuncturist,
